Hi Tim,

You can see our online tutorial about Search URLs here. Please don't hesitate to ask if you still have any confusion.

Hope this helps

Ronniee,

Great tutorial but it still does not explain why I would want to set it up. Can you include an example in the lesson so one might see the need for this?

Hi Tim,
you can use Search URLs to crate quick booking links that you can publish on your own website, external websites, social medial or even paid advertisement.

Search URL is so flexible that it allows you to promote for example Fixed fare route and attach a coupon to it or promote specific date for booking.

This is quite useful feature and if you think about the possibilities you can come up with many uses for it.

Hope this helps.
Kind regards.

Hi,

So can I create my own form and send the data to booking instead of using your form?

Hi Tim,
yes, you should be able to do that.
You can collect necessary information via HTML fields and build the Search URL and on submit just trigger the URL in a browser.
Please note that the booking form will open in the original domain and not your website as modern browsers do not allow iFrame modification.
The result will look like this: https://booking.drivenot.com/company/resident-4-residents-3?booking_type=offers&route_pickup_category=5224&route_pickup_poi=6117&route_dropoff_category=5220&route_dropoff_poi=6116&pickup_date=&pickup_hr=00&pickup_min=00&passenger=0&suitcases=0&infantseats=0&childseats=0&boosterseats=0&return=0&return_date=&return_hr=00&return_min=00&tmpl=component

Hope this helps.
Kind regards.
