#27 – Custom fields for users

 Hello,

I have the legal obligation to ask customers whether they agree or not to have their email used for marketing purposes.

I encounter three issues with it:

- option lists cannot be as 'mandatory'.
- the selection of a field in an option list is not mandatory and the option list can remain empty.
- there is no possibility to associate a custom field to a user, only to orders.

I'm aware that the last point may be difficult to solve, but please give me feedback.

Hi Fabien,
I'm not entirely sure what are you trying to do here.
Custom fields can not be set per user because users may be logged in or not when they book.

When you set Option list you can actually create as many options as you like so in your case if you want to leave an empty choice just create 3 choices:
-- Select --
Yes
No

Ok, but the option list cannot be set as 'mandatory'. I only have the field 'No', but users can leave the field empty and the system will accept it. I would like the users to be 'forced' to answer yes or no.

Now you can set Mandatory = YES for an option list. Please check.
