What we want want to accomplish:

To gather the Airline, Flight Number, and Departure City (3 Custom Fields) whenever a user requires a pickup at an airport.

- A user enters a pick up address (Address Search) and selects an airport (POI).
- If the user selects Return, they are prompted to select the Airline, enter their Flight Number, and Departure City (3 Custom Fields).

ALSO

- If a user selects an airport for pick up (POI) and enters a drop off address (Address Search), they are prompted to select the Airline, enter their Flight Number, and Departure City (3 Custom Fields).

All of the above is happening; however, if the user fails to read to just starts typing the following happens:

- A user enters a pick up address (Address Search) and enters a drop off address for an airport (Address Search).
- If the user selects Return, they are NOT prompted to select the Airline, enter their Flight Number, and Departure City (3 Custom Fields).

ALSO

- If a user enters a pickup address for an airport (Address Search) and enters a drop off address (Address Search), they are NOT prompted to select the Airline, enter their Flight Number, and Departure City (3 Custom Fields).

Is there a way to ensure we always prompt the user for the Airline, Flight Number, and Departure City (3 Custom Fields) whenever a user requires a pickup at an airport?

Custom fields can only be assigned to POI Categories or Address search (or both).
The POI will always appear first and the customer should select it as it appears. However, if they don't select the POI but the Address instead then the system will treat that selection as Address search and will display Custom fields assigned only to Address search.
There is now way to anticipate if an Address search is an Airport at the moment.

It might be possible in the future when we develop Zones to have custom fields assigned to Zones and create search zones around Airports but this is still in research and no promises can be made at this point.

You can contact your customers via the built in "Private message go customer" system and ask to collect additional information of orders that have missed vital to your operation information.

Hope this helps.
Kind regards.
