 Can the tariff times not be changed? (trying to set up address to address) as from what i can see they are set to the following Day:7:00 - 23:55 & Night: 00:00 - 6:55 when i change them they go back to the original set times, hope i wont be waiting a few months to get a answer like all the other tickets i have pending sorry to have to say this but getting a reply is a big waiting game not good when you are trying to run a business as my customers wont wait for me.

I have just tried to change the start and end time of a tariff from the backend Tariffs manager here https://booking.drivenot.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_tbsaas&view=tariffs, I couldn't reproduce the problem, please send us some screenshots/videos so that we can reproduce the issue on our side.

I need the day tariff Mondat to Saturday 8:00 to 20:00 and night tariff 20:01 to 7:59 and all day Sunday needs to be a night tariff.

When I change and save them then click on the tariffs to check them they go back to the original wrong times.

I have setup in address to address search that the pricing will charge from Base A (Base to Pick up charge €1.30) to pick-up client at location B and drop off client at location C, this works fine when it set-up for this type of transfer.

But if we have a different transfer like vehicle leaves Base A (Killorglin) to pick-up client from Location B (Killarney) and takes client back to Base A (Killorglin) the calculation is almost double as it is charging both ways is there a soloution to this or can i have the system show the fixed price Killorglin to Killarney instead of the address to address calculation if the customer still used the address to adress search?

I have seen your video, thanks for that, then I was checking the Night Tariff (NT1) details, Special Tariff was set to YES for this tariff and hence all other tariff availabilities was ignored.
I have set that to NO and now the above days availabilities are being stored properly.
If you put mouse on top of Special tariff = YES/NO, you will see a popup explaining it clearly ( see the attached please )

Hi Ronnie, Thank you for explaining this, if i select a address to address transfer by car from Killorglin to Killarney on a Sunday 19th November the price calculation is correct €45 and if i select for a return on the Monday 20th November it only provides a €37 euro charge it does not add the €45 euro run for the Sunday to the total it should be €82 but it shows €37 only can you have this looked at please. Can i have the other ticket also looked at please (MONDAY, 13 NOVEMBER 2023 20:58 UTC) on base to pick-up. Regards Lawrence

We can't reproduce this, please try to send screenshots/videos so that we can detect the issue quickly to get a fix.

And, please send screenshots/videos as well for the issue explained at MONDAY, 13 NOVEMBER 2023 20:58 UTC, it's really hard to reproduce the issue without proper and exact explanation.

Hi Ronniee

Please find utube link https://youtu.be/CmrnABK4VlQ im happy with the price €42 from Milltown to Killarney this is calculating correctly as it is charging from our base killorglin
to pick-up point milltown and drop off point killarney.

But when we have a different transfer type like pick-up in Killarney drop off in Killorglin our base it is charging from Killorglin base to Killarney then the pick-up in
killarney and the drop off in Killorglin the cost should only be approx €37 is there a way in correcting this please.

For the following trip

Pickup: Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland
Dropoff: Killorglin, County Kerry, Ireland
And base is killorglin.

So, the system will calculate Base to Pickup price first ( >> Base to Pickup Charge: 22.12 kMs X €1.30 = €28.75 ),
then pickup to dropoff ( >> Pickup to Dropoff calculation: 0.50 kM X €1.30 + 14.00 kMs X €1.30 + 7.00 kMs X €1.65 + €6.20 = €36.60 ).
You haven't set any price for Dropoff to Base, so Dropoff to Base is ( >> Dropoff to Base Charge: 0.56 kM X €0.00 = €0.00 )

Now, the entire trip price is €28.75+ €36.60 = €65.35 = $66 ( rounded up)

I think price calculation for the above trip is correct, you can see the price calculation details for each car in the second step ( see the attached please )

Regarding the return trip issue, you have disabled the Day tariff on the Sunday. So, on any Sunday, the system can't assign the Day tariff, instead prices from the General price settings will be applied.
I see prices are 0 in the General price settings, you should always add prices in the General price settings, this will work as a fallback.

The return trip issue we have the Sunday rate set-up for this tariff Night Tariff (NT2) it is set from 00:00 to 20:00.

I need the day tariff Monday to Saturday 8:00 to 20:00 and night tariff 20:01 to 7:59 following day and all day Sunday needs to be a night tariff.

This is what we are allowed in Ireland click on this link for rates please https://www.transportforireland.ie/fares/taxi-fare-estimator/ going by this i think
the tariffs are set the right way.

For the following trip

Pickup: Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland
Dropoff: Killorglin, County Kerry, Ireland
And base is killorglin.

It is great to be able to charge for dead millage if pick-up client is lets say 10km away from base and needs to go the opposite direct from base location.

But when this is set-up it creates the other problem if a passenger needs a pick-up from a airport or town that is not in the same location as base but is going to the town
where base is located the system then charges double the cost as it is charging from Base to pick-up and then back to base location.

Is there a solution to this thanks.

I think I have found it, let me explain it. Your cars and tariffs are very complex at the moment and anyone will be lost there :)

Booking Summary: 19-11-2023 ( Sunday ) 17:55 21.57 kilometers (Each Way) 23 mins
Killorglin, County Kerry, Ireland
Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland and RETURN: 20:11-2023 17:55 ( Monday )

Day tariff ( https://booking.drivenot.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_tbsaas&view=tariff&layout=edit&id=1570 ) is not available on Sunday,
so the system was trying any other tariff which is assigned to a car.
Let's pick a car (Skoda Superb Standard (Day) https://booking.drivenot.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_tbsaas&view=car&layout=default&id=5983 ).
Only Day tariff was assigned to this car. This is why, on 19-11-2023, no tariff was found on 19-11, but this car is set to use Tariff.
Hence, the pickup to dropoff price calculation was 0 on 19-11-2023 for this car.

But, for the return trip on 20-11-2023, Day tariff was assigned properly. ( see the attached )

So, the summary is although you have created different tariffs and cars for day and night,
but if any tariff is not available on a weekday and the car is forced to use Tariff, you have to assign a fall back tariff for that.
I have assigned Night Tariff (NT2) for the above car and now price calculation seems correct.
Please check on your side and let us know.

I think you are talking about Dropoff to base price calculation in the other post, we have checked this price calculation is as expected,
please test on your end again and explain in details ( with screenshots/videos ).

Hi Ronniee

Thanks for your replies the cars Skoda Superb for Tariff (Day) are set 8:00 - 19:55 Monday to Saturday no Sunday / Tariff (NT1) are set 20:00 - 23:55 Monday to
Sunday / Tariff (NT2) are set 4:00 - 07:55 Monday to Saturday but Sunday goes from 4:00 - 19:55.

I have just done checks on the address search calculations it works fine if the system has to add the same tariffs together for return journeys such as
Tariff (Day) + Tariff (Day) or Tariff (NT2) + Tariff (NT2) or Tariff (NT1) + Tariff (NT1) this you can see if you do the following address search.

Date 26/11/23 Time 9:15 for Pick-up location Killorglin & Drop-off location Killarney plus return same day 26/11/23 Time 16:15 cost €90 this is perfect, but if you just change
the date for the return to 27/11/23 it shows a cost of €37 because it never added the €45 for the 26/11/23.

And with the fixed fares your system will only add the return transfer cost twice it will not add the first journey & the return journey together this is a problem when the first
journey is different to the return journey in price.

26/11 is Sunday and Day tariff is not available on Sunday. And, Night Tariff (NT2) tariff is available from 00:00 to 20:00 on Sunday.
This is why, NT2 tariff is being applied on both the outbound and return trip on 26/11 and $90 is showing for this car Skoda Superb Standard (NT2).

When the return trip is on 27/11 Monday and outbound trip is on 26/11 Sunday, Day tariff is not available on 26/11 and NT2 tariff has not all the available cars assigned to it.
This is why, there is no tariff for the outbound trip on 26/11, but Day tariff was properly applied for the return trip on 27/11.
This is why, no price calculated for the outbound price, just the return trip was calculated and hence €37 price is showing for the car Skoda Superb Standard (Day)

I think the system is working as expected as according to your configuration, you just need to configure differently if you need different result.
