#870 – Fixed fare routes, Night-time taxi increase %

 Hi, I’ve registered for your trial and I’m using Fixed fare routes.

1) I need to add 20% price increase on fixed fare routes from 21:00 to 6:00 for night fare. Is it possible?
2) Can I upload all the points of interest or Fixed fare route by Excel?
3) How can I change portuguese translation (Pt_pt)? Even Portuguese from Brasil version needs help...

Hi Algarve,

About the portuguese translation, I noticed you have already installed portuguese translation for your company from Backend -> Translations screen, now you can click on Português do Brasil (pt-BR) to see all translations, there you can change any translations and those changes will be reflected on your company Booking Form instantly.

About importing via XLS, you can't upload POIs or Fixed routes from your Backend, instead you have to send us filling up all your data in a formatted CSV/XLS file and then we will import from our side.

We will investigate your booking form configuration and get back to you soon about the first issue.

Thanks for your answers. I can't see how I can change the translations. For instance:

«Retirada» should be «Partida»
«Devolução» should be «Destino»

You can easily search for a text in Translation screen, please see the attached.

Hi Algarve,
We may have missed to reply to your first question:
1) I need to add 20% price increase on fixed fare routes from 21:00 to 6:00 for night fare. Is it possible? - there is no way to automatically do that for Fixed fare routes but you can create cars with different availability for different time frames eg. 1 Car: Available from 6:00 to 21:00 (day shift), 2 Car: Available from 21:05 to 23:55 (night shift), 3 Car Available from 12:00 to 6:00 (morning shift) and then in Fixed fare routes assign different rates for each car. The system will only show the car that is within the time zone the customer selected with the correct price.

Do you want us to install Portuguese (pt_pt) language as there might be a lot of differences between Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese. If yes, then please finalize the translation at https://kanev.com for Portuguese if it's not complete.

Note: If yes, then please finalize the translation at https://kanev.com for Portuguese if it's not complete: How can I do that?.

The translations that I did at «Translations» are not visible.

Hi Raquel,

You have to login (register first if you don't have any account) at kanev.com and then you will be able to translate here https://kanev.com/translations/translations?pid=1&lid=40, some strings might already be translated, you can verify those translations and also add your translations.

Please let us know when you complete translating, we will fetch translations and install on your Booking Form.

Hi there,
here is the direct link for Portuguese language: https://kanev.com/translations/translations?pid=1&lid=40
You can select "Untranslated first" and "Front end" with the filters at the top of the translations and only translate the Front end to 100%.
To see and be able to translate you have to first register and log in to https://kanev.com

Hi,

We have installed Portugese language for your company, you will see a new language row in Backend Translations section. Now, you can uninstall Portugese Brazil if you want and set Portugese language as Default for your company.

Please check your Booking Form for Portugese and let us know if you find any problem.

After inserting hundreds of fixed routes it is painful... I believe it will be a problem to our client to update prices. Is there a better way? Please inform details about this procedure

Please find attached the 2 .CSV templates, one is POI and another is for Fixed fare route.

About POI template, column names are self explanatory. Please put the correct POI category name, POI title and co-ordinates for all POIs.

About Fixed fare template, first column is title, here you should put an unique title so that you can identify a route easily. Next 2 columns are pickup_type and dropoff_type, there are 2 possible values here, "poi" or "zone". If you have a route from Pickup POI to Dropoff POI, then both these columns will have "poi". And, put POI title in next 2 columns, "pickup_poi" and "dropoff_poi". If you have a Fixed fare from Pickup zone to Dropoff zone, then values for pickup_type and dropoff_type will be "zone" and put Zone title in next 2 columns, "pickup_zone" and "dropoff_zone". Route price will be in next and last column.

Please send us filling up correct data in both the CSV, we will import those in your system from our end.
