I cannot work out how to set a minimum price for a journey. I charge by the mile but require a minimum charge.

The easiest way to have a minimum price if you use price per mile is via Distance sectors - eg. from 0 to 2 miles £10 (non-cumulative sector). You can have Distance sectors for each car, for each tariff if you use tariffs or in global configuration for all your cars.

Thank you for your reply. I'm afraid that still doesn't make much sense to me!

What I'm after:

On the Tesla Model S Saloon I want to charge £10 initial charge. Then £4.55 per mile. However, I just want a minimum charge of £145.

e.g.
SG5 3RA to Luton airport will be £145.

I don't want the 1st mile to be charged at £145 and then the next 10 miles to be charged at £4.55 a mile.

I see what you mean with the example that you have provided.
So you need to charge at least £145 regardless of distance and after that £4.55 a mile.
If we divide 145 / 4.55 = 32.2 which means that up to 32.2 miles the price has to always be £145.
In the system, you can set one cumulative distance sector 0 to 32.2 miles at flat rate 145 and then another distance sector 32.2 to 10000 miles at 4.55.
You select cumulative distance sectors because the system needs to add both sectors to each other.

So now the calculations will be like this:
If the trip is from 0 to 32.2 miles price will always be £145 (your minimum price).
If the trip is eg. 55 miles the price will be £145 + (55 - 32.2) x £4.55 = £248.74
