Have DriveNot got a booking app for customers like uber operate there app i know that there was to be a driver app to come out to take the bookings from our portal.

What i'm looking for is a way to avoid having to man phones & emails for bookings especially at night so customer can see available cars through app book a taxi through the app and the driver can take booking through driver app and also get exact location of customer.

Hi Lawrence,
there is no such app yet but we are collecting feedback from our clients to find out if this would be something they would be interested in.
If we are to create such an app it will work on commission (lead generation) basis. Uber charges their drivers 25% for using their app. We will try to go lower than that but what would be a comfortable % for you?

So are we saying that uber are taking 25% of what revenue comes through the app that i would not be interested in i was expecting a x rate per month for the use of the app.

yes Uber takes 25% of what the drivers make and in some areas they experiment with 30% - this is how they support their operations and this is why the company is so big.
Good to know that you are not interested in % sharing, most companies are willing to pay commission for ride sales but this is your business and your decision.
The upcoming Driver app will be on monthly fee (paid annually) basis and it will help Drivers manage their jobs better - Accept, Reject jobs, see upcoming job reminders etc.
If your website is generating your ride sales and you assign cars to drivers then with the Driver app things will get even more automated so you will need to do even less dispatch work.
