#919 – Payment Method

Hi we use paypal for our payments through the DriveNot booking form but we find that if the customer does not have a paypal account this cause a problem as when the customer selects on step 3 of booking form Grand total to proceed to payment you are forward then on to the login paypal account.

And if the customer does not have a paypal account they don't see the option to pay by debit credit card at the bottom of the paypal page this is done purposely as paypal want you to set up a account.

So my question is can anyone advise on another payment option that is available on the list by DriveNot and that the customer does not have to sign up to a account with the payment provider all they have to do is put in credit/debit card detail and pay.

And we don't want to use stripe as this pops up too early on step 3 of the booking form before the client has the form completed.

Hi Lawrence,
if the customer doesn't have a PayPal account then the PayPal screen will show the option to pay with Credit/Debit card automatically. This is done via a cookie from PayPal and that cookie decides which page to show to the customer when they are on PayPal's website.
If you have opened and logged in to PayPal at least once on your computer then PayPal shows you the log in screen to speed up payment.

We can not advice you which other payment method you can use as different payment methods are available in different parts of the world. For example you wouldn't want to use moneta.ru as it's for the Russian market.
You will have to see which payment methods are common in your country and decide which one to use. Here is the list of all payment methods currently available on The Booking Form: https://booking.drivenot.com/en/payment-methods

Hi i have just checked this out with another device & you are correct this will work perfectly we were going by feedback from our clients that they were having 2 problems when it came to processing their payments one of them was the iframe position when the message came up for pay via PayPal this we believe is now sorted.

And then we could see that the option to pay be credit card instead of login to your account was hard to see at the bottom of the paypal screen but as you say if you have no paypal account it shows up differently.
