 Hi,

I would like to have an option for adding initial cost when a user wants to add a stop between 2 destinations?

E.g. 60 Swedish SEK Initial Cost + 5 SEK/Minute for making a stop along a way.

Can this be added?

Best Regards

Muhamed

Hi Muhamed,
you can add Stops along the way via the settings at the back office. Here is documentation on how to enable and manage stops: https://booking.drivenot.com/en/knowledge-base/47-how-to-enable-additional-stops-along-the-route

As initial cost you can use the setting at back office > Dashboard > Settings > General price settings > Initial call charge or for more flexibility you can add it to "Additional car type charge" for each vehicle.

A very useful tool when checking how your prices are formed for each car is the Price Debug calculation. Here is some information on how to enable and use it: https://booking.drivenot.com/en/knowledge-base/55-how-to-check-price-calculation

Hope this helps.
Kind regards.

Hi,

Thx i will take a look at that.

But my original quesiton (don't know if i got an answer on that) was if i could get the option for setting a fixed price before charge ticking per minute when doing a stop?

E.g. you have Charge per minute when doing a stop.
But i would also have the possibility to add initial charge per stop. I dont know if that can be setup in General Price Settings since i dont find "Initial charge per stop"?

Thx in advance

Muhamed

Hi Muhamed,
I'm afraid it's not clear what "Initial charge per stop" means. How do you intend to use that? Is this applied to Pick up and Drop off stops?
Please give us more details.
Kind regards.

Hi,

Heres a scenario:

1: User sets Pick-Off adress
2: User sets Drop-Off adress
3: User sets Stop Adress with amount of minutes for the stop.
3.1 When a stop is added. One should consider the following
  • For every stop the initial charge (fixed price per stop) should be 60 Swedish SEK)

  • The user will be charged with a specific amount per minute (this function already exists)

  • If the stop is not along the way (between a pick-off and drop-off place) then the stop should be considered as a booking with a price based on a tariff.

    For example:

Only stop price (initial stop charge + charge/minute) = along the way
Pick-Off: Central Station, 37 Wharfdale Rd, Kings Cross, London N1 9SD, Storbritannien
    Drop-Off: Heatrow Airport
Stop: Paddington Station, Praed St, London W2 1RH, Storbritannien

Charge as a standard booking (based on Tariff) = Not along the way
Pick-Off: Central Station, 37 Wharfdale Rd, Kings Cross, London N1 9SD, Storbritannien
    Drop-Off: Heatrow Airport
Stop: Olympic Park, London E20 2ST, Storbritannien

Hi Muhamed,
the stops can not be compared with the road and classified as on the way or outside of the way. Instead the distance from A to Stop to B is recalculated and increased based on mileage (price per mile).

Then only Waiting time at the stop is relevant and added based on user selection.

Hope this helps.
Kind regards.

Hi Muhammed,
at the moment except for price per minute for waiting time no other charge can be associated with Stops.

Kind regards.
