#759 – no sms again

I was checking your SMS settings, I noticed you added calling code starting with + sign, calling code should be without zero and + sign. I have removed that, please check now. FYI, while creating new order from Backend, you will always see success or error message at the top of the screen if you have SMS sending enabled. That message is very descriptive, so that will help you to detect the problem when SMS is not being sent.

Ronniee I was not even getting message about SMS as if I hadn't asked for SMS to be sent

That's strange, you should see success message or error message, these messages are directly from API. And, for the sms being sent correctly, you have to set Send SMS to customer = YES at Backend New Order screen. What is happening now? Isn't SMS being sent?

not sending sms yet but i think i have the answer.

with the new paypal button i have to put the order status on " waiting" this then changes to accepted when you get a paid response from paypal.

if this stops the sms until the paypal response is received then just leave it.

You are correct, system will not send SMS for an Waiting order, order has to Accepted for SMS being sent.

just placed a fake order and even after i paid the paypal button no sms was recieved.

when status is automatically changed to accepted can the system now send sms as it doesn at moment

We have fixed that, now SMS will be sent for Accepted orders when status is changed automatically to Accepted, still you have to set Send booking in Text message = YES at Backend New order screen while creating new orders. Please check again on your end and let us know if you find any problem.
