Hi this is our new website http://www.taxi.fetestsite.com/ on the book now tab i need to know is it possible that when a customer wants to get a transfer price that they would first have to create a login before they can access the prices and when they do this that they then going forward would be able to access there transfer history, invoices, also be able to change booking they made such as date pickup times etc.

What i'm really trying to do here is prevent competition just trying to access prices and not having any interest in booking us.

Regards,

Lawrence

Hi Lawrence,
this is not possible at the moment and will require some custom development.
At the moment an account will be automatically created for every customer on their first Order and password will be emailed to them.
After they log in they can visit their trips history and download PDFs (all orders will be added to the same account even if the customer is not logged in).
Customers can not change Date/Time for bookings as this is quite complex as well, it has to qualify as a new search because the system will look for available vehicles for the newly selected Date/Time when additional fees or different prices may also occur if you use Tariffs for example.

So your request here consists of 2 parts:
1. Only allow logged in users to view the booking form - if user doesn't have an account allow them to create one.
2. Allow users to Edit their orders by cancelling first booking and executing new search with new parameters - difference in price has to also be recovered at the end, it is more complex with returns in case the new price is lower than the one previously paid. A good system will be creating "store credit" where users can use that credit for future purchases but this will make the whole development even more complex and costly.

Looking forward to your comments.
Kind regards.
