#34 – SMS settings

 Hello,

is it possible to remove the 'Country Phone Code' in SMS settings, and change the way customers are asked to fill their phone number (without country code)? That will allow me to send SMS to customers with foreign numbers.

Hi Fabien,
this is currently not possible without modification.
Would you rather have your customers add their international numbers and the system sends them SMS to any country phone number?
SMS will contain only partial information of the booking because of characters limitation and it may be quite expensive to send SMS to international numbers.
Emails are received on almost any device at the moment and contain the whole booking information.

However, please let me know if this is something that you are definitely interested in and we will look into the possibilities.

Hi,

My issue is that many customers come here from abroad without a data roaming plan, so have limited access to emails.

Let's leave it for now, I'll see how customers ask for it and come back to you.
