#291 – follow up to whats happening

 my customers are not getting confirmation text think it might be to do with country codes again

just deleted preceding 0 from mobile number it works with that

Hi a1lux,
Clickatell is expecting phone numbers to be in specific format and this is why we have implemented Country codes.
Our system will try and strip leading 0 from any phone number but this may not happen for old phone numbers that are already stored in the database.
Please observe this behaviour and let us know if you find any problems.

thats fine i can deal with that would still love an auto fill on the order entry screen where when you start typing a customer name if they are on your customer list it will auto fill, without having to go into the customer database yourself re enter their name select the customer etc

Hi again a1lux,
first I assumed that you were referring to front end booking form - user details auto fill - when user is logged in their details will be auto filled in the 3rd step of the booking process.

If you are referring to the back end > New order, then you should know that auto filling customer details - name, email and phone number is also possible.
You have to click on the icon next to Customer's Name in the New/Edit orders screen. A pop up with a list of all customers will appear. Type in a few letters of the name in the Search filed. When you see the customer you are looking for (if they exist in your system) just click on the name and their details will auto populate the top part of the booking form.

im talking about the back end, just saying it would be nice (and would speed up entry) if you just started typing in their name and it gave you list of options (as the pickup address field does) this would save you going into the icon next to the customer name. maybe for the next build?
