#210 – Customers Having Issue Booking Orders

 1. Custom Fields (Airlines, Flight Number, Departure City) are Showing on Drop off, but that option is disabled (See Attachment 1 and 2).

2. Once customer selects the "Reserve Now" button, the systems appears "frozen". No further message is displayed. Moreover, no confirmation email is issued. However, we find the order in the Dashboard (See Attachment 3 and 4).

1. Custom Fields (Airlines, Flight Number, Departure City) are Showing on Drop off, but that option is disabled (See Attachment 1 and 2).

>> We have added 2 new options under Show on Return recently, Show on Pickup and Show on DropOff. By these 2 options, you can control custom fields existence in Return trip pickup and dropoff sections only. Above Show on Pickup and Show on DropOff are now only for outbound trip. I think you have missed these 2 new options and you have to reorganize your custom fields. Please try on your end and inform us if you find any problem.

>> We were updating our system and I think you were trying submitting a order at that time. I have submitted a test order and received the order email correctly in my Inbox. Please check on your end and inform us if you find any problem here.

Thank you for the response. Everything seems to be working as designed now.

Yes, I was unaware of the 2 new fields under "Show on Return". Maybe an update email to your subscribers notifying them of changes that may affect the Booking App configuration?

FYI: We first became aware of Problem 2 as I described above at 1:55PM Chicago time yesterday. Did the system upgrade take that long yesterday?

We usually send newsletter for major improvements, this was a small addition which we are supposed to notify our customers later along with some major improvements.

Actually, we were updating a lot of things and in the meantime, we also fixed few bugs, those might affect order submission also.
