When I perform a stripe payment test on the booking form, the customer only receives the pending payment email while the administrator receives both, pending order status email and confirmation email for the reservation.

For the customer to receive this confirmation however, it is necessary that the site administrator must validate the order on the backend .. is this normal? What does it take for the customer to receive confirmation directly?

Good evening to you,

Hi Elbaz,
apologies for the late reply.
When the booking is made the normal chain of emails is that the customer receives an email confirmation of the order and the status is Waiting. If the payment with a payment processor is successful the booking will change its status to Approved.
The admin will get both emails as well.
In some cases, there are settings at the payment processor Configuration screen to disable some of the emails.
It is normal to send an email to the customer when the Admin changes the order status manually - this is very useful if the online payment didn't go through but payment was arranged in a different way between the customer and the company.

Hope this helps.
Kind regards.
