#1552 – PayPal

 Our form has started giving a PayPal message when someone books a ride - even if the person does not choose to pay via PayPal. It reads, "For security reasons, please confirm that you would like to pay via PayPal by clicking here." This is extremely confusing to people. It should take them either to a confirmation page or back to our home page or something...but not that message. Unless they choose pay via PayPal - then it would make since. How to we fix that?

We have submitted two test order on your system using cash and paypal payment method and all the things went well. System is working as expected.
"For security reasons, please confirm that you would like to pay via PayPal by clicking here." This message is showing when we choose only the paypal method.

Please check on your side after clear your browser cache and let us know your comments.

I just ran a quick test myself (order #5cc20a6001401). I chose to pay by Credit Card and that message still appeared. If I choose Cash (order #5cc20beb4891d) it works correctly. Most of our clients choose credit card. The PayPal screen is very confusing for them. I get it when they choose PayPal, but not for credit card.

Hi Tom,

I was checking Payment methods on your back office. You named the payment method as Credit Card, but actually that's a PayPal plugin and our system redirects users to PayPal payment page directly for any order submitted by using PayPal plugin. PayPal payment page is more secure and we just forward users to PayPal and then its just PayPal's responsibility to make the payment secure. If you need any Credit card payment method, you can use most popular payment methods like Authorize.net, Stripe etc.
